Our Story
From a rented home and twelve students to an international school community in Machava.
1996 → 2026
CAM officially opened on 12 September 1996. Its growth has involved more than buildings: it is the continuing work of families, students, educators and partners who have carried a clear Christian educational purpose across three decades.
CAM officially opens on 12 September with twelve students in a rented home on Kenneth Kaunda Avenue.
The school moves to the former French elementary school on Avenida 24 de Julho, creating room for a growing international community.
CAM secures the Machava property and begins converting the campus for classrooms, offices, sport and community life.
The auditorium and further learning spaces expand what the school can offer.
CAM protects continuity through online and blended learning during the pandemic.
Thirty years on, CAM continues as a K–12 Christ-centred international school with Cambridge and American High School pathways.
