Christ-centred Education
Christian purpose informs teaching, relationships, discipline and service across the school.

1996 → 2026
CAM began on 12 September 1996 with twelve students. Three decades later, the same conviction still guides the school: rigorous learning, Christian purpose and a community where every student is known.
The CAM difference
A close international school community where academic ambition and Christian character belong together.
Christian purpose informs teaching, relationships, discipline and service across the school.
A structured international pathway supporting progression from early learning to senior secondary.
A second senior pathway for Grades 11–12, giving families meaningful academic choice.
English is the central language of instruction, with Portuguese taught from Grade 1 through Grade 12.
Students are expected to learn well, serve others and grow into responsible, principled people.
A diverse international community where students are known and families build genuine relationships.
Academic pathways
From the first years of learning to university preparation, CAM offers continuity, structure and meaningful choice.
Play, exploration, language and the foundations for independent learning.
02Strong foundations in English, Mathematics, Portuguese, Science, Bible Education and the wider curriculum.
03A broader programme introducing Global Perspectives, Economic Management Sciences and Life Skills.
04Compulsory and optional Cambridge IGCSE subjects shaped around each student's direction.
05Cambridge Pathway or the four-year American High School Diploma pathway.
Life at CAM
Learning at CAM moves between classrooms, sport, culture, service, chapel and the everyday work of growing in confidence.

Christ-centred Education
A Christian worldview shapes the culture of CAM and the way learning, service, discipline and relationships are understood. Bible Education and weekly chapel are visible parts of school life, but Christian purpose reaches further than either.
Our Christian identity
Real people. Real school life.
University & future
Cambridge and American High School pathways help students build the academic habits, communication skills and character needed for further study and responsible citizenship.
