Preparing to Celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus

He has risen!

As we approach Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday we get so excited at the anticipation of celebrating this most profound historical event! For never before and never again did one man’s death and resurrection have such a profound effect on all men past, present and future!

It is the time of the year when we check ourselves. Who do we most closely resemble in this event? The thieves on their own crosses; the soldiers gambling away the dying men’s possessions; the crowd throwing insults; the disciples who mostly abandoned Jesus at His hour of need; the man forced to carry the cross; or the tears of a grieving mother?

 Science Fair

We thank all our parents, judges, teachers and students for the hard work in preparing for this year’s Science Fair. A good Science Fair project can take many hours to prepare, many more than is available during the school day. A successful project requires the student, parent and teacher working in collaboration.

U12 basketball winners!

Our U12 Basketball boys are fortunate enough to participate in the Minibasketball tournament at Escola Secondaria Liberdade. We are so proud of our team for starting strong and winning their first game. The tournament still runs for another 4 weeks. All the best to our team for their next games!
