Welcome to 2024!

Updated: Jan 23

2024
Proverbs 3:6 (Amp)
"In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him, And He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way]".

It is good, at the start of this new year, to begin with a fresh dedication and focus on Jesus, the author and sustainer of our faith! For through Him alone is our life force assured, our hope secured and our life given meaning far beyond our present circumstance!

At CAM, we started the year in this way:

  • by recognizing and glorifying God.

  • by reconfirming our faith and trust in Jesus Christ.

  • we remembered how God sees us, thanks to Jesus: His dearly loved children.

  • we remembered that nothing can separate us from this wonderful love of God.

And then we also reminded ourselves to succeed we need to believe that we can do it, but that it also takes hard work and determination, on a daily basis. Whether we want to improve in our academics or our sports or our musical ability, it required hard work and dedication.

And we read what it says in Romans 8:37 (NKJV) "Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us". Through Jesus, we can overcome! And we read what Jesus promised in John 14:12-14, that when we serve in God's kingdom, spreading God's love and the good news of salvation, we can send our needs to Him and prayer, and He will get it done! This promise is not for selfish gain, but for the work of the ministry God invites us to participate in.

School Books, School Supplies and Uniform

  • At CAM we value neat work and presentation.

  • It is important that new exercise books are correctly covered in paper, with a plastic cover and a label with the student's name and the subject.

  • It is important that each student has the correct supplies needed for the different subjects.

  • It is important to come to school, dressed in the correct uniform.

  • To stop uniform from getting lost, it is good to label each item.

Parent Meeting

All CAM parents are invited to a meeting on Saturday, 10 February, in the CAM gym, at 9h00. We will discuss some of CAM's strategic priorities going forward and meet with their childrens' teachers. We are hoping to have every single family represented.

Matola Day

A reminder that 5 February is Matola Day, so the school will be closed for this day.

Admissions

We have some spaces in some of our classes. Please help us fill our classes. Our target is 15 students per class. It does not cost anything to spread the word and invite families to come visit our school for a personal tour and discussion.

Science Fair

This year’s Science Fair, scheduled for 16 March. We encourage all our Gr4-12 students to start getting ready. The theme this year is “Using Science to Solve our Problems”. It is good for students to research and determine their plans and ideas early, so that there is enough time to get the project done.
